I hope you enjoy reading my NaNoWriMo Diary as much as I am enjoying working on my rough draft this year.

NaNoWriMo Diary 2017: Week Four

Nov 22 – 52,622, Today’s Total Words: 160

– Notes: Overly tired today, and I have a lot to prep for Thanksgiving tomorrow. I managed to hide in the bathroom with my notebook and wrote in there sitting on the edge of my bathtub away from my guests. I don’t feel guilty about it either! What I do feel guilty about is the fact that I forgot to add images and post my NaNoWriMo Preptober post. I will take care of that as soon as I get another moment to breath again.
– Mood: Tired
– Inspiration music for today: None

Nov 23 – 54,380, Today’s Total Words: 1,758

– Notes: Between cooking and them watching football and other things on the TV, I managed to get a little writing time in today. I had a vision of a certain scene in my head thanks to a dream I had last night. I managed to get the words out quick, and took my outline of that particular scene in a nice direction, adding a little twist and a decent AHA moment. I am really looking forward to Sunday! My current lifetime words are 174,380, still not sweating the whole possibility of not getting to 200,000 words by the 30th. I have 12 rough draft chapters complete, four rough draft chapters still being written, and six rough draft chapters still in outline form. Looking through all of my finished chapters, my word count ranges from 3,093 at the lowest and 5,040 at the highest. Not too shabby for a rough draft written during NaNoWriMo! I am also happy to say that what I have written all makes sense together, with minor time issue changes to be made in the actual story.
– Mood: Feeling pretty ok
– Inspiration music for today: None, does The Chargers Vs. The Cowboys count as inspiration music? The halftime show was pretty epic.

Happy Thanksgiving
Wishing you and yours a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!

Nov 24 – 54580, Today’s Total Words: 200

Notes: 0 time to really write anything. It will be like this for the next few days, but at least I can get something in to get that 30-day word count update badge this year.

Nov 25 – 55,301, Today’s Total Words: 721

Notes: My oldest son’s birthday today! I woke up at later than planned, and only managed to get in 721 before people started coming over for breakfast. I need a vacation from their vacation and a maid…

Nov 26 – 55,801, Today’s Total Words: 500

Notes: Nothing to say
Mood: Feeling overwhelmed and a little emo.

Nov 27 – 56,673, Today’s Total Words: 872

Notes: Still a little overwhelmed and emo now that the Thanksgiving rush is over. I wrote in silence today; I felt the need to be alone after having so many people in my face constantly the last week.

Nov 28 – 57,173, Today’s Total Words: 500

Notes: EMO!!! I will not bore you with that.

Nov 29 – 57,273, Today’s Total Words: 100

-Notes: Most of what I wrote today was done in the traditional sense, my notebook and a pen. I did not get the chance to type in my notebook writing to my Scrivener document today. I will do that tomorrow morning before I do my last validation of the event. I managed to get in 100 scrivener words in the 5 minutes I had open this morning. I slept in this morning, and I am not feeling bad about that in the least little bit.
Mood: Feeling balanced again!
Inspiration music for today: My son’s band is opening up for Adelita’s Way tonight at Sunshine Studios. I overdosed on my favorite songs, and for a moment, Illianaro was becoming more like Rick DeJesus the more I wrote in my notebook.
